SKILL DEVELOPMENT & UPGRADATION
The HRDC conducts training programmes for
development of management skills and specialised functional skills for
scientific, technical, administration, finance and purchase staff of CSIR. HRDC
conducts these programmes at its own campus as well as off-campus at various
CSIR Labs. The Centre out sources faculty
from within and outside CSIR including from international sources.
The HRDC is conducting Training Programmes for
the scientific, technical, administrative, purchase and financial personnel
under the following broad categories:
(a) Induction / Orientation
training programmes for freshly recruited scientists and newly recruited /
promoted officers in administration, finance, purchase cadres of CSIR.
(b)
Management development training programmes on leadership development, team
building, technology & R&D management etc.
(c) Refresher functional skills
training programmes for scientists, administrative, finance and purchase
personnel.
The modules for these programmes are designed,
evolved & formulated in house keeping in view the organizational and
individual's career & personal growth needs.
These training programmes are regular part of
Centre's activities. It, however, also designs organizes & conducts programmes
which add value to the organization as well as familiarization programmes on
new policy initiatives introduced in the organization. The recently organized
are on:
(a) Training Programme on Right to Information Act.
(b) Training Programme on TDS and Service Tax.
(c) Laboratory Quality Management under ISO 17025 Standard.
